Landing Page

A landing page is a focused single page built around one offer, stripped of distractions so visitors take one clear action.

A landing page is a single, focused web page built around one offer or campaign, with the distractions stripped away so a visitor is guided toward one clear action. Unlike your home page, which has to serve everyone, a landing page has one job: someone arrives from an ad, an email, or a promotion, and the page is built entirely to help them take the next step.

For a small business, that focus is the whole point. When you pay for an ad, sending clicks to a busy home page full of menus and side paths tends to scatter attention. A landing page removes the exits, states one offer clearly, and leads to a single call to action, which is why a well-built one usually turns more visitors into inquiries or sales, a lift you can see in the page’s conversion rate.

A good landing page answers three quiet questions fast: what is this, why does it matter to me, and what do I do next. Anything that does not serve one of those is a candidate for the cut.

When a build calls for it, I make landing pages that carry the same brand and speed as the rest of the site and point at one action, because a focused page can only work if nothing on it competes with the thing you actually want the visitor to do.
