Call to Action (CTA)

A call to action is the button or link that tells a visitor exactly what to do next, like Call Now or Get a Quote.

A call to action is the button or link that tells a visitor exactly what to do next, like Call Now, Book a Visit, or Get a Quote. It is the moment a page stops informing and starts asking, and a clear one removes the guesswork about how to become your customer.

For a small business, this is the single biggest lever on whether a website actually brings you work. A site can be handsome and still leave money on the table if the next step is buried, worded vaguely, or missing from the part of the screen a visitor sees first. A strong call to action is specific, easy to reach, and repeated where a decision naturally happens.

I place clear actions high on the page, above the fold and again where they make sense, so the path to contacting you is never more than a glance away. Design and words work together here: a page that looks good but never asks for the next step, and never earns the conversion, is a brochure, not a working landing page.
